Andy McMillan, RMT

Originally from Waterloo, Ontario, I have been a Registered Massage Therapist for nearly 10 years and am a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. After many years of practice in Vancouver, I’ve relocated to Vernon to continue my passion for helping others.

My practice is focused on helping people recover, restore, and return to the activities they love. I am most happy seeing clients of all ages and backgrounds, including seniors, working professionals, or former athletes. I have a special interest in treating concussion and whiplash recovery, post-surgical healing, and rehabilitation following fractures, sprains, and other injuries. I also enjoy working with clients experiencing overuse injuries, neck and jaw pain, and headache disorders.

My approach is to be mindful of patient preference, determining goals and expectations and going from there. Overall, I try to keep things simple and contextual to the patient: is this a chronic pain sufferer who needs to focus on calming the nervous system and is open to pain science education, or is it someone in a particular phase of injury recovery who needs help mobilizing a particular region?

Outside the clinic, I enjoy snowboarding, camping, and exploring nature with my wife, daughter, and springer spaniel.
